TPDesign3 Touch Panel Program
3.
Click Open when you're done selecting the icon files. A warning message appears if the icon
exceeds the panel screen dimensions assigned to the project file.
4.
You can now Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, Export, and Rename images in the Icon Manager. Icons
can have duplicate names because they are identified by position in the library. Once an icon is
copied, you can only paste it into an open position in the manager dialog box.
!
The Project Explorer also allows you to Cut, Copy, and Paste. The explorer attempts to
place a pasted icon into the same relative position in the target project as its' occupied in
the source project. If the position in the target project already has an icon, it is placed into
the first available empty position. If there are no empty positions available, the Paste
operation fails and an error message appears.
!
Using the Icon Manager, if a position within the library is chosen, the Paste operation
attempts to place the icon in the specified position. If the position is occupied, the user is
given a choice to place the icon into the first available empty place in the icon library,
replace the icon, or to not save the new icon. If the Icon Manager is full, the user is given
an error message and the paste does not occur.
5.
Click Close to accept changes made in the Icon Manager dialog box.

Managing Fonts
1.
Select Manage Fonts from the Fonts drop-down menu to open the Manage Fonts dialog box.
2.
Select a font type from the Import Touch Panel Fonts. This field shows a list of all TrueType
®
fonts found on your computer system that can be imported to the program.
3.
Change the text properties for the selected font by altering the Style and Point Size.
4.
Click Import Font after changing the font properties. The altered font type appears at the top of
the Fonts In Panel field.
The Icons library may contain icons with the same name because they are placed
into the library by position. Paste is only enabled when there is an icon in the
clipboard available for pasting into the library.
The Manage Fonts dialog box has Copy, Paste, Cut, and Delete functionality for one
font at a time within the current project or between projects. Any font occurs only once
within a library.
You can cut and delete fonts from this listing, but DO NOT REMOVE the stock fonts
native to a touch panel.
