Fonts Toolbar
You can use the Fonts toolbar to assign a font to the text within a button. The Fonts toolbar is
selectable from the drop-down menus and always appears on the Workspace. For more information
on additional toolbar buttons, refer to the
Managing Fonts
section on page 20.
Button Types Toolbar Buttons (Cont.)
Bargraph
Changes an active button into a bargraph button. Sets the button to a bargraph or
slider. Data for the bargraph or slider response comes from the Central Controller.
This response is unavailable for one-way ViewPoint panels.
Brightness
Changes an active button into a brightness button. Sets the button to open the
Brightness page. This page shows the color palette.
Date
Changes an active button into a date button to a page. Displays the current date
on the button.
Time
Changes an active button into a time button. Displays the current time on the but-
ton.
Keyboard
Changes an active button into a keyboard popup button. Sets the button to open
the keyboard so you can enter a name or string.
Keypad
Changes an active button into a keypad popup button on a page. Sets the button
to open the keypad so you can enter a password or value assignment.
Panel Setup
Changes an active button into a panel setup button on a page. Sets the button to
open the Setup page.
Sensors Setup
Changes an active button into a sensors setup button that takes the user to the
panel’s Sensors Setup page.
Video Setup
Changes an active button into a video setup button. Sets the button to open the
Video Setup page so the user can set the incoming video display properties on the
touch panel.
VGA Video Setup
Changes an active button into a VGA video setup button.
An AXB-TPI does not allow a button to be assigned to VGA Video Setup.
Video Window
Changes an active button into a video window on a page. Turns the button into a
video window to display the incoming video signal.
Video Joystick
Changes an active button into a video joystick on a page. Sets the button to a
video joystick that displays the incoming video signal, and a control stick. When
you move the control stick, the touch panel sends data to the Central Controller
and to the external device to perform a pre-programmed operation.
