PTE-300 PosiTrack Ethernet Camera Controller
Entering Fixed IP Addresses
Static IP addresses can be used to give the interface a known unchanging IP address. You will need to
specify the IP address, gateway, and mask to set the static IP address in a proper manner. You can specify
one static IP address. The gateway and mask values are used to initiate communications from the
interface to other computers.
To enter new Static IP Address information:
1.
From the
IP Configuration
page, click the
DHCP: Disable
radio button if it has not already been
selected. If DHCP is enabled, the Static IP fields will be grayed out and set to zero.
2.
Enter the new
Static IP Address
information. The factory default Static IP Address for the PTE-300
is 192.168.1.160.
3.
Enter the new
Static IP Gateway
information. The default Static IP Gateway for the PTE-300 is
192.168.1.2.
4.
Enter the new
Static IP Mask
information. The default Static IP Mask for the PTE-300 is
255.255.255.0.
5.
Click the
Save Settings
button. If the new parameters are acceptable, the new screen will read
"Restarting. Please Wait..." before moving to the
Summary
page.
6.
Click the
IP Configuration
link at the top of the
Summary
page to confirm that the fixed IP values
were changed.
All changes will take effect after rebooting of the PTE-300.
