Viewing your outgoing video signal
A picture-in-picture (PIP) window lets you view video information being transmit-
ted to the remote site. The PIP On and Off buttons, located on the CONF, DIAL, and
CALL STATUS control pages, turns the PIP (a second video image in one corner of
the main image) display on and off. Any selected video input source may become
the PIP. When displayed the PIP always appears on the main monitor.
To change the position of the PIP, push the PIP Move button located on the same
screens as the PIP On and Off buttons. Each button push moves the PIP window
from one corner to the next, in a clockwise motion, around the screen.
Selecting the source to be transmitted
Five video input sources are available for transmission to remote sites. The Video
Source Section is available from the CONF, DIAL, MCU, and ECHO CANCEL con-
trol screens. Choosing any button automatically selects that source for transmis-
sion.
Linking audio and video inputs
The system has the ability to link audio and video inputs for easy source selection.
Detailed information about this procedure can be found in the
Audio/Video Wizard
subsection
.
Sending and Receiving Graphics
The system supports standardized still image transfer. This function allows you to
send, receive, and request still images. The last sent or received image will be
stored in memory at your location.
Sending a Still Image
From the CONF or ECHO CANCEL control screens, press the Send button located
in the Still Image section.
