Configuring the System
VClink Codec Master Control System
RS-232 Program DIP Switch
The eight-position DIP switch (Figure 15) configures the communication parame-
ters for the program port. Set the RS-232 Program DIP switch to the following con-
figuration:

TX1 and RX1 LEDs
These red LEDs indicate that the AXB-EM232 is receiving (RX) or transmitting (TX)
RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 data. RX1 and TX1 correspond to Port 1 on the rear
panel.
RS-232/422 1 and 2 DIP switches
These two eight-position DIP switches configure the communication parameters
for the Ports 1 and 2.
Set DIP Switch 1 (Figure 16) to the following configuration:
