PC1 Connections
The optional AMX Power Controller (PC1) provides AC power on/off for video display sources
that:
!
Do not have IR control capability.
!
Do not require IR channel control (baseband audio/video).
Connect an optional PC1 to I/O 2 as shown in FIG. 12.
You must set the PC1 for single-button mode and momentary operation.
IRX-SM or IRX-UM receiver connectors
Connect one or more optional IRX-SM+ swivel-mount receivers or IRX-UM+ IR UniMount
receivers to the AXB-TMC/TMX+, as shown in FIG. 13. (Refer to the
Preparing/connecting
captive wires
on page 7.) You can also use optional TX-series wired control panels. You can wire
up to eight receivers in parallel. For setting the receivers, refer to the
Auxiliary DIP Switch
on
page 3 subsection of this manual.
IR Signal Attenuation (CC-IRC) Adjustment
If you experience television control problems after connecting a CC-IRC IR Emitter to the
television, the television may be too sensitive to interpret the IR signal generated by the
AXB-TMC/TMX+. You can reset switches 1 - 5 on the Auxiliary DIP switch to decrease the
strength of the IR signal. Refer to the
Auxiliary DIP switch
on page 3 and the Auxiliary DIP Switch
Settings 1 - 5 and Values for IR/serial table on page 4.
