J27 Select Enhanced Parallel Port DMA Request
J27 is a six-pin dual-inline header that selects the parallel port
DMA request line. The factory setting is OPEN (no DMA
channel selected). The J27 pin configuration is shown in the
following graphic:
J27 Pin Setting DMA Channel
All OPEN No DMA channel selected (factory setting)
Short Pins 1-2 DRQ0
Short Pins 3-4 DRQ1
Short Pins 5-6 DRQ3 (Factory setting)
Warning
If Pins 1-2 of J27 are shorted together, Pins 1-2 of J26 must be
shorted together.
If Pins 3-4 of J27 are shorted together, Pins 3-4 of J26 must be
shorted together.
If Pins 5-6 of J27 are shorted together, Pins 5-6 of J26 must be
shorted together.
You can only select one of the J27/J26 options, and they must match.
