Placing the machine in the transport position
Switching the machine from the working position to the transport position:

1. Remove the protective tarpaulins from the booms.
The brake must be released when
tractor control unit 1
is actuated
so that the roller wheels can unroll.
2. Actuate
tractor control unit 1
.
Completely raise the machine (Fig. 50/1), headland setting.
3. Raise the tractor lower links (Fig. 50/2).
4. Actuate
tractor control unit 2
:
Completely fold up the machine (Fig. 50/3).
CAUTION
Note that the maximum transport height is 4 m.
Make sure that there is enough ground clearance.
5. Close the stop tap to prevent unintentional folding out, see page
33.
Secure the machine against unintentional folding out.
6. Actuate
tractor control unit 1
.
Lower the machine (Fig. 50/4).
7. Lower the tractor's lower links (Fig. 50/5).
Make sure that there is enough ground clearance.
8. Fit the protective tarpaulins as a safety precaution on the tines
and discs.
