– A key is required to unlock the top cover which allows you
access to the ribbon cartridge for replacement as well as the buttons
for programming.

Error Messages
In the event of an error, a message will appear in the display. The possible
error messages are listed in the following table along with their probable
causes and solutions.
Note
– An error message can be possibly cleared by pressing the
“
Reset
” button. The Reset button is located on the back of the clock
on the bottom. The blue Rest button is recessed, so it may require
using an object such as the tip of a ballpoint pen to press.
