AlphaQuiz User’s Guide
Taking a quiz
Note:
If you haven’t loaded any quizzes, students can start
AlphaQuiz, but they’ll see a message that no quizzes exist on the
device. You need to download the quiz from your computer
before they can take the test. See “Sending a quiz to connected
AlphaSmart devices” on page 83 for more information.
To take a quiz:
1. On the AlphaSmart devices, students press
on/off
.
2. Students press
applets
. The SmartApplets menu appears.
3. Students scroll using the arrow keys to select AlphaQuiz, then
press
enter
. A list of available quizzes appears.
4. Students scroll using the arrow keys to select the appropriate
quiz, then press
enter
.
5. Students step through the prompts onscreen, as explained in the
following sections.
Select a SmartApplet and press enter:
- AlphaWord
- Calculator
- AlphaQuiz
Select a quiz:
- Math Chapter 1
- History Chapter 5
- Weather Quiz 1
