Feed the 230 V power cable, power cable for circulation
pumps and cable for outdoor temperature sensor
through the rubber grommets in the facing panel…
•
Cut open the rubber grommets in the facing panel…
For details of the positioning of the rubber grom-
mets for the cable entry, see “dimensioned draw-
ing” for the respective unit model.
•
Push the cables through the rubber grommets in the
unit…
By pushing them in, the cables are routed inside the
unit in a closed cable duct to the terminals on the
switching plate…

ATTENTION
Ensure clockwise rotary field of the load power
supply (compressor).
Operation with the incorrect rotary direction
of the compressor can cause serious, irreparable
damage to the compressor.
ATTENTION
The power supply for the heat pump must be
equipped with an all-pole miniature circuit-breaker
with at least 3 mm contact spacing to IEC 60947-2.
Residual current circuit breaker type A is sufficient.
“Technical data /
scope of supply” overview,
“Electrics” section.
NOTE.
In units with integrated electric heating element
the electric heating element is connected to 9 kW
in the factory. It can be reconnected to the 3 kW
or 6 kW contactor.
For further details, refer to the sticker on the
electrical heating element.
Electrical connection work
The following applies to all work to be done:
DANGER!
Risk of fatal electric shock!
All electrical connection work must be
carried out by qualified electricians only.
Before opening the unit, disconnect the sys-
tem from the power supply - wait for 90 sec-
onds = residual voltage at inverter - and pre-
vent it from being switched back on again!
WARNING!
Note and follow the relevant EN, VDE and/
or local safety regulations during installation
and when carrying out electrical work.
Comply with technical connection require-
ments of the responsible power supply com-
pany (if required by the latter)!
NOTE.
All live cables must be stripped before they are laid
in the cable duct of the switch box!
