Grounding requirements
The chassis must be connected to a building ground point, usually a metal water pipe
or building steel. The cable must be long enough to connect the ground screw on the
rear panel to the building ground point without splicing. Use a cable that is a
minimum of 16 AWG (1.5 mm nominal diameter). A cable that is 10 AWG (2.6 mm
nominal diameter) or 12 AWG (2 mm nominal diameter) is recommended.
