Table 19-3 Super-rate speeds, required channels and module positions
Reserved module positions
To guarantee sufficient bandwidth on the primary rate link for super-rate connections
greater than 128 kb/s, the 2902 MainStreet system automatically reserves module
positions contiguous with the module position of the X.21 or V.35 DCM. The
reserved positions protect their associated DS0s.
Logical module position M01 can reserve 7 or 15 positions (for speeds of up to 1024
or 1920 kb/s, respectively); position M09 can reserve 7 positions (for speeds of up to
1024 kb/s).
