Re-Start Delay Timers 

 
Re-start delay timers sense when an output has just turned off, then disables the output for the re-start delay time. This timer 
is designed to prevent short-cycling of equipment. 
 

 

Delay Time: The amount of time that the output will be disabled for once it has 
turned off. 
 
Output: The output which is being managed by this timer. 
 
Example uses include: 

 

Prevent a compressor motor from short-cycling. 

 

Prevent a heating system from short-cycling.

The re-start delay settings are accessed via the controls tab under the “Re-Start Timers” group.
