Thermostat Settings
Each thermostat has specific settings which control its function.
Zone#: The zone that the thermostat will take sensor readings from.
Temperature Source: The sensor type from the selected zone (air temperature, water temperature or outdoor temperature.)
Day/Night Set Points: Temperature values for the day and night which will activate the thermostat.
Dead-band: Temperature drop from set-point before turning on heat or turning off cooling (see dead-band below.)
Output#: Enter an output number to turn on (or off if limit control) when the thermostat is active.
VSC#: Enter a VSC channel # to send the target positions to when the thermostat is active.
Dead-Band
The “Deadband” setting in determines how tightly a thermostat tries to keep the temperature to the set-point. It is necessary
to have some dead-band: generally 2.0-5.0°F or 1.0 – 3.0°C.
