Using the Degasser

Changing Solvents

Changing Solvents

If you are changing to a solvent that is immiscible with the solvent currently in 
the tubing:

1

Replace the current solvent:

•

with iso-propanol, if current solvent is organic, or

•

with water, if current solvent is an organic buffer or salt.

2

Flush the online degasser and all tubing thoroughly.

3

Replace the iso-propanol or water with the new solvent.
