Getting Started

E4419B Power Meter User’s Guide

RS232/422

This connector allows the power meter to be controlled remotely using
either the RS232 or RS422 serial interface standards.

Serial Label

Each power meter has its own individual identification number. Refer to

“Instrument serial numbers”

on page 110 for further information.

Rmt I/O

This connector is an RJ-45 series shielded modular jack assembly. It
provides a TTL logic level output when a measurement exceeds a
predetermined limit. TTL inputs are also provided to initiate zero and
calibration cycles.

Ground Connector

Binding post, accepts 4 mm plug or bare wire connection.
