To Change the Security Code
To change the security code, you must first unsecure
the power supply, and then enter a new code. Be sure to read the security code rules
on page 67 before attempting to secure the power supply.
• Front-Panel Operation:
To change the security code, first make sure that the power supply is unsecured. Go
to the security code entry, press
(
Secure
) key after the “
CAL MODE
” message
is displayed, enter the new security code using the control knob and resolution
selection keys, then press
(
Secure
) key.
Changing the code from the front panel also changes the code as seen from the remote
interface.
• Remote Interface Operation:
CAL:SEC:CODE <new code>
Change the security code
To change the security code, first unsecure the power supply using the old security
code. Then, enter the new code as shown below.

Calibration Count
You can determine the number of times that your power supply has been calibrated.
Your power supply was calibrated before it left the factory. When you receive your
power supply, read the count to determine its initial value.
The calibration count feature can be performed from the remote interface only.
• The calibration count is stored in
non-volatile
memory, and does not change when
power has been off or after a remote interface reset.
• The calibration count increments up to a maximum of 32,767 after which it wraps-
around to 0. Since the value increments by one for each calibration point, a
complete calibration will increase the value by 6 counts.
• Remote Interface Operation:
