Calibration Procedure
There is only one calibration procedure that can be performed outside of
an Agilent authorized service facility. The following procedure describes
how to calibrate the Counter’s timebase.
NOTE
The Counter should be powered on for at least 30 minutes prior to
beginning the calibration procedure. This allows the internal temperature
of the Counter and its timebase to stabilize.
Equipment Required
10 MHz Reference Standard
Non-metallic adjustment tool for slotted screw head
Agilent 10503 series Coaxial Cable

Connect an Agilent 10503 series coaxial cable from the output of your
10 MHz frequency standard to the Channel 1 input on the Counter’s
front panel.

If there is a label covering the calibration adjustment access hole,
remove it (see Figure 2-1).
