Verify that the Counter is still set to use an external reference signal
(refer to steps 5 through 10 on page 1-13).

Set the output of the Synthesizer to the first frequency specified for
Test 2a in the Performance Test Record on page 1-30 (10 Hz).

Set the power output of the Synthesizer to the first power value specified
for Test 2a in the Performance Test Record on page 1-30 (–14.9 dBm)
(40 mV).

Record the frequency value read on the Counter (±1 count) for Test 2a in
the Performance Test Record on page 1-30.

Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 for each of the remaining frequencies specified for
Test 2a. Don’t forget to change the power level when performing the
1 KHz test (–19.2 dBm) (25 mV).

If all of the frequency values you recorded for Test 2a are correct, mark
Pass in the Performance Test Record for Test 2a. If any of the frequency
readings you recorded are incorrect, mark Fail in the Performance Test
Record.
