13.Place the two side cap plates (R) onto the center collar assembly, ensuring the side cap plates are
parallel to the long center collar channels (P).
14.Apply a bead of caulk (S) along the inside edge row of holes as shown.
15.Position and align a center cap plate (T) on the top of the side cap plates (R) and install the bolts
(U) and the nuts (V).
16.Locate the holes in the cap plates and install four vendor eye bolts (W) for lifting. Eye bolts are NOT
supplied by GSI.
NOTE:
Eyebolt will pass through multiple layers of steel: the cap plates, the long center collar chan-
nels and the center collar channel spacers . Make sure the eyebolts are rated to lift the full
weight of the cap plate assembly with the cap plates, center collar channels and center
collar channel spacers.
