7. SMART STATUS
7.1. About this chapter
The Smart Status function allows you to view the configuration and the current state
of both instrument and tested interface. Interaction with the B channel status is also
possible.

Page 1 shows:

Instrument configuration
►
Type of test in progress
►
Current test state
►
Filling percentage of the internal buffer for storing monitor events
►
Current date and time
►
State of the single layers referred to the OSI model when significant
The current layers status it is also displayed through three LEDS placed on the
screen’s protection lens, according to the following table:
LED off Æ Level not active.
Green LED Æ Level active.
Yellow LED Æ Level in an intermediate state.
Red LED Æ Level in presence of anomalies.
