slots on the chassis.

SAS hardware RAID components
Altos R910 SAS model supports RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 configurations.
Functionality for SAS hardware RAID is enabled by using the following
components on the server RAID adapter:
•
RAID activation key (iButton)
•
RAID cache
•
RAID BBU
RAID activation key
Removing the RAID activation key

Observe the ESD precautions and pre-installation instructions
described on page 37.

Remove the server RAID adapter. See “Removing the SAS RAID
adapter” on page 86.

Insert the tip of a small flat-bladed screwdriver under the plastic
tab on the retainer holding the activation key to the adapter.
