Processing period II commences after the first tripping signal or at the latest one period of the
system frequency after a starter picks up. The variables measured are the same as those
already processed during processing period I.
Only in the case of a cross-country fault in an ungrounded system or system with Petersen
coils is measurement restricted during processing period II to just the impedance loop
determined by the phase selection logic, otherwise all the phase-to-ground and phase-to-
