Removal, brake release unit

The procedure below details how to remove the brake release unit.

3. Remove the

push button guard

and the

cover,

push button guard

from the SMB cover.

The guard must be removed to ensure a
correct refitting of the brake release unit.

4. Unscrew the attachment screws of the SMB/

BU unit and carefully lift the unit out of its box.

Let the battery stay connected, to avoid the
need of synchronization of the robot!

5. Disconnect the connectors X8, X9 and X10

from the

brake release unit.
