Cleaning the power module heat exchanger
The heat exchanger can collect dust from the cooling air. If the heat exchanger is not
clean, this can cause overtemperature warnings and faults. Check the condition of the
heat exchangers and perform these maintenance steps only if dust accumulation is
apparent.
WARNING! Obey the safety instructions on page

. If you ignore the
instructions, physical injury or death, or damage to the equipment can
occur.
WARNING! Use a vacuum cleaner with an antistatic hose and nozzle. Using a
normal vacuum cleaner creates static discharges which can damage circuit
boards.
WARNING! Be careful when you clean the heat exchanger to prevent damage to
it.

To clean the heat exchanger:
1. Before you start, stop the inverter and do the steps in
Electrical safety
on page
6
.
2. Open the protection grilles and remove the filters.
3. Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the heat exchanger, do not use air to blow the dust
inside. Be careful not to damage the heat exchanger fins.
