
Unloading a new spare part, balancing device

Action
DANGER
Do not use the Distance tool: 3HAC030662-
001 to unload or restore the pressure of
the balancing device spring unit! This tool
is only used to lock the spring unit in a
compressed position, after axis-2 has been
jogged to -20° or +20°. Fitting and removal
of the tool shall only be done with axis-2 in
this position!
To unload or restore a new balancing
device or if the spring unit of the balancing
device cannot be compressed by jogging
the robot, only use the hydraulic press tool

Refitting the front shaft of the balancing device

Action
Turn on the power to the robot.

Use caution and jog the robot to the calibration
position (if not already done).

Turn off all:
•
electric power supply
•
hydraulic pressure supply
•
air pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the robot working
area.

Lifting shackle: SA-10-8-NA1
Apply the lifting accessory to the balancing device
(if not already done).

Align the balancing device link ear with the hole
in the lower arm.
Note
Check that the link ear is turned correctly. See
figure!
