2. Click Next to proceed to the Configure Alarm and Event Template page or Import
if you do not want to change options in the following pages.
Configure Alarm and Event Template
1.
Select the Alarm and Event Template for IEDs on the Configure Alarm and
Event Template page.
2. Select the Use Template checkbox if you want to use the Alarm and Event Template
when the IED is imported. You can select one of the predefined templates in the
dropdown menu to set the alarm and event handling for the imported objects. There
are two template options:
•
General Phase Tripping: By selecting this template, protection functions are
configured to send general alarms and events regardless of which phase is
activated. Depending on the device, phase-specific information may be provided.
• Single Phase Tripping: By selecting this template, protection functions are
configured to send phase A, B, or C-specific alarms and events, depending on
whether the device provides phase-specific information.
