The ratings apply in ambient temperature of 40 °C (104 °F). In lower temperatures the ratings are
higher.
Input cable fuses
The recommended fuses are for branch circuit protection per NEC.
Check that the
operating time of the fuse is below 0.5 seconds and the fuses are of the “non-
time delay” type .
The operating time depends on the fuse type (T/L or aR), supply
network impedance and the cross-sectional area, material and length of the supply
cable. In case the 0.5 seconds operating time is exceeded with T/L fuses, ultrarapid
(aR) fuses will in most cases reduce the operating time to an acceptable level. The
fuses must be of the “non-time delay” type. See also

Note 1: In multicable installations, install only one fuse per phase (not one fuse per conductor).

Larger fuses must not be used.

Fuses from other manufacturers can be used if they meet the ratings.
