If your drive has jumper J2, follow the instructions below.
When you need to connect a PC or an assistant control panel to the drive, set:
•
Jumper J2 on the front of the drive = Panel (default)
•

58.01 protocol enable
= 0 (None, default)
When you need to use Modbus RTU communication with the drive, set:
•
Jumper J2 on the front of the drive = Modbus mode
•
Parameter
58.01 protocol enable
= 1 (Modbus RTU)
Connecting a PC
To connect a PC to the drive, there are two alternatives:
•
Use an ACS-AP-I/S/W assistant control panel as a converter. Use a USB type
A – type Mini-B cable. The maximum permitted length of the cable is 3 m (9.8 ft).
