The following messages appear on the display. If you want to know what to
do about a particular display prompt, look it up in the following table.

Check phone Cord
A possible problem with the line cord. Check
line cord connections.
HS Ringer is OFF
You have turned your telephone ringer OFF.
Extension in use
Another phone in your home is off-hook.
Call is on hold
You have placed your call
on Hold.
Battery is low
You must recharge the Handset. If you are on a
call, a beep will sound and this prompt will
appear on the Handset.
Directory full
No changes made
You are trying to add an item to the Directory
and it is full. You will have to delete an item that
you no longer require before a new item can be
added.
Message waiting
Check for new messages at your Voice Mail
Center (telephone company feature).
Saved: CCF
Appears when you have saved to the Services
List (CCF=Custom Calling Features).
Charging
Appears on the Handset’s display ONLY when
the Handset is in the Base.
Microphone muted
Appears when you have used the Mute key on
the side of the Handset. Press
m
again to stop the muting feature.
