Saving from the Callers List
to the Directory
You can save a name and number
from the Callers List and store it in
your Directory. Directory entries
are not bumped when the list is full.
You can add a long distance prefix
and/or an area code prior to saving.
See the next section for more
information.
When a Callers List name/number
is displayed:
1 Press
s
.
2 Use the dial pad to enter a name
if one does not already exist (see
“Names, Numbers and
Characters” on page 24) and
press
s
.
Dialing Long Distance
numbers from the Callers
List
When a long distance prefix (LDP)
is entered in Option 11 (page 11)
and an area code(s) in Option 10
(page 11), you need only press
<
once, to automatically add both the
long distance prefix and area code
in front of the Callers List number
on the display.
If you only require the long distance
prefix, press
<
and then
]
to add
just the long distance prefix in front
of the Callers List number.
Press
<
then
]
and then
]
again to
display just the Callers List number.
Press
t
to dial out the
number once it is displayed as you
wish.
