Range
The amount of distance that you
may have between your Handset
and your Base while still
maintaining contact.
Services
Your telephone company provides
many useful services for which you
are usually charged on a per use
basis. Some common services are,
Voice Mail, Call Forwarding, Call
Return and Call Trace. The front
section of your local telephone
book generally provides
information on any services
available in your area.
Services code
The two- or three-digit code which
your local telephone company
assigns to activate a particular
service.
Security code
One of 16 million codes, known
only to the Base and Handset,
which ensures privacy.
Standby time
The amount of time that your
Handset may remain out of the
Base, not being used.
Talk time
The amount of time available to
make and receive calls or view and
modify lists before recharging.
