Import combinations
To import data from an IntelliGate communication server, proceed as follows:
1. Create a backup of the IntelliGate communication server using the latest version
of AIMS 7.9 (AIMS-Shell:
Tools
/
Backup (PC -> Disk)
).
2. Create a new Aastra 400 communication server in AMS (offline).
3. Configure all the cards on your new communication server in AMS (offline).
4. Import the backup file of theIntelliGate communication server (AMS Shell:
Tools
/
Import
/
Import data from Aastra IntelliGate…
).

First start of the communication server
If an existing ommunication server is to be upgraded, it must first be in a defined
state. This involves setting or deleting all the parameter values to their country-
specific default values and carrying out a self-test.
