System Administration
The System administration screens contain administrative functions.
The screens and functions are detailed in the following section.
System Upgrade
The
System Administration — System Upgrade
screen gives you the
ability to upload updates to the 3e–525A–3 device’s fi rmware as they be-
come available. When a new upgrade fi le be comes available, you can do a
fi rmware upgrade from the
Firmware Upgrade
window.
There is also a confi guration fi le transfer option which allows the
system confi guration fi le from one AP to be transferred to another AP,
in order to minimize the administration of the APs. Only confi guration
parameters that can be shared between APs are downloaded in the con-
fi guration fi le. WAN IP address and hostname are not transferred in the
confi guration fi le. Click on the
Local Confi guration Upgrade
and
Remote
Confi guration Upgrade
tabs to perform fi le transfers.
Only the Crypto Offi cer role can access this function.
Firmware Upgrade
On the
System Administration — System Upgrade
screen, the Firm-
ware Upgrade tab is the default view.
Click browse and select the fi rmware fi le to be uploaded. Click on the
Upload Firmware button.
