Deleting Users
The Delete Users screen, as shown in
Figure 5-11
, is
used to remove users from the User List. The User
List shows all of the users configured for the hub.
This option is available only for users with
security
access level.

Select the users to delete from the List Box using the
spacebar, then move to the
DELETE USERS
button and
press [Return]. You cannot delete the current user
(the user name you used to log on) or any of the
default users (monitor, manager or security).
Polling a Remote Device
The Remote Poll screen, as shown in
Figure 5-12
, is
used to see if a remote device is responding, by
sending a message forcing a response from the
target device. This determines if there is a path or a
congested path between this device and other
devices on the network. This option is available only
for users with
manager
access level or higher.
