Tips for cutting

5.4.2 Speed

The speed only has a limited effect on the quality of the cutting result. That is why it should be limited

only if the cutting or routing process requires it.
The maximum speed that can be reached depends on the cutting contour. High speeds can only be

reached in sufficiently long straight sections or sufficiently wide radii. If the cutting or routing process

allows it, it is recommended to leave the maximum speed at 1 m/s.
If the cutting process requires a very low speed and the radii are not too tight, a reduction of the speed

is recommended.
