6.1 Safe maintenance of the machine

General safety instructions

• Do not exceed maintenance deadlines.

• Switch the cutter to maintenance mode: switch off and secure against restarting. Also attach a sign

to the control panel reading "DO NOT SWITCH ON".

• Only authorized service technicians may carry out service and maintenance work.

• Absolute cleanliness and order must be maintained at the work station at all times.

• Spare parts must meet the technical requirements specified by the manufacturer. Original spare

parts are always guaranteed to do so.

• Wearing protective clothing is mandatory for maintenance and cleaning work (see chapter

• Keep unauthorized personnel away from the machine during maintenance work.

• Observe the general safety instructions when handling operating materials (hazardous substances,

chemicals).

6.2 Tools, operating and auxiliary materials

Tip:
