Introduction

1.1

Scope

1.1.1

Audience

This manual is intended for properly trained service personnel and technicians who need to

install the BPS12 Battery Power Supply. The manual assumes you are familiar with electronic

circuitry and wiring practices.

1.1.2

Installation and Use

Unpack the product and verify the items as described in chapter 3, starting on page 11.

Prepare the site as described in chapter 5, starting on page 21.

Warning

The BPS12 is designed to be installed by qualified personnel only. Installation by

unqualified individuals may result in injury and damage to the BPS12 and

surrounding equipment.

Warning

This equipment is to be installed and maintained by service personnel only as

defined by AS/NZS 3260 Clause 1.2.14.3 Service Personnel.

Warning

The BPS12 must be installed in a secure location that has access restricted to

qualified personnel only. Placing the BPS12 in a location accessible by unqualified

individuals may result in bodily injury and damage to the BPS12 and surrounding

equipment.

Install the BPS12 as described in chapter 5, starting on page 21.

Connect the devices that are to be powered by the BPS12.
