Maintenance and Use
7.1 Introduction
This chapter describes how you should ensure that the BPS12 continues to operate.
Warning
Only trained and qualified personnel should be allowed to maintain the BPS12.
7.2 Servicing
The only user serviceable parts on the BPS12 are the seven fuses that are accessible from the rear
panel. This section describes the method of diagnosing possible fuse failures and the method of
replacing the fuses.
7.2.1 Measuring Voltage Potentials
The BPS12 provides six dc power outputs. Each power output connector, as shown in figure 7-1,
is a Molex, Minifit Jr. Connector, 39-30-0040.
For each power output, pins 1 and 2 are connected and pins 3 and 4 are connected. To measure
the voltage output, verify that the Standby Switch is in the on position and measure the potential
from one of the top pins (either 1 or 2) to one of the bottom pins (either 3 or 4).
