Adjusting Volume

1. Touch the

Home Key >

> Settings > Sound > Volumes

2. Drag the sliders to adjust the volume for each type of audio.
3. Touch

to save.

NOTE:

You can adjust the media volume when a media application is in
use by pressing the

Volume Key

. If no media application is

active, press the

Volume Key

to adjust ringtone volume (or the

earpiece volume during a call).

Switching to Silent Mode

You can set the phone to silent mode by using one of the
following methods.



Press and hold the

Power Key

and then touch

to enable

silent mode, touch

to enable silent mode with vibration,

or touch

to disable silent mode.



Keep pressing the lower end of the

Volume Key

when no

media application is active. When the

icon appears on

the status bar, the phone is in silent mode with vibration.
When the

icon appears, the phone is in silent mode.



Touch the

Home Key >

> Settings > Sound > Silent

mode

, and touch

Vibrate

Mute

. To enable sound again,

touch

Off



Open the Quick Settings and touch

SOUND

to toggle

between sound and vibration. See
