07 - 8                                                      RT35 Rough Terrain Crane 

7. 10 TOWING 

 

When the crane is in-tow, do not make sudden changes in speed. This can damage 

the tow coupling.   

 

If the engine cannot operate, do not tow the crane. 

 

To prepare the crane to be towed, do the items that follow:   

 

Operate the engine at idle (keeps the transmission oils in motion).   

 

Disconnect the front axle. 

 

Disconnect the rear axle.
