Unscrew the spark plug (3) with the spark plug wrench
(4).

Gently clean the upper part of the spark plug with a fine
wire brush. Remove the carbon deposits as well as
possible.
6.
Visual check of the spark plug: if the electrodes are
worn or the insulation is damaged - exchange the spark
plug.
7.
Check the gap between the two electrodes: This should
be between 0.6 and 0.8mm.
8.
The gasket ring should also be in good condition.
9.
If necessary, exchange spark plug.
10.
Screw in the spark plug the first few turns by hand. Be
careful not to damage the thread.
11.
Use the spark plug wrench to tighten the spark plug.
New spark plug: tighten by 1/2 turn to compress
the washer well.
Old spark plug: 1/4 - 1/8 turn for proper washer
compression.
12.
Reinstall the spark plug cap and the spark plug cover.

Draining the carburettor
Fuel tap in position „OFF“
Remove the side cover
Put the drain-hose (1) into container to drain the
fuel of the carburettor
open the drain plug (2) on the carburettor until
the fuel has drained completely.
Tighten the drain plug (2) on the carburettor
again
Clean the outside of the drain hose and put it
back into the machine
Assembly the side cover again.
