Air filter: check / exchange
Check if the air filter is clean.
NOTICE:
Do not run the engine without the air filter: doing so will allow dust to enter through
the carburetor and cause premature wear.
1.
Unscrew the screws (1) and remove the side cover (2).
2.
Unscrew screw (3) and remove air filter cover (4)
3.
The air filter element (5) can now be removed.
4.
If the air filter element is dirty, clean it with warm
soapy water, then rinse it with water and let it dry.
5.
Apply a thin layer of engine oil to the air filter element,
then squeeze it out.
6.
Reinsert the air filter element.
7.
Reinstall the air filter cover (4) and secure it with a
screw.
8.
Reinstall the side cover and secure it with screws.

Spark plug: check / exchange
1.
Remove the spark plug cover (1).
2.
Remove the spark plug cap (2) with a twisting
movement.
3.
Clean the area around the spark plug from dirt.
