Due to its IP21 protection, the unit cannot be installed outdoors. In order to ensure the maximum service life of the
equipment, install it in a clean, dry and cool location.
The place chosen for the installation must meet the following characteristics:
•
Protection against dust. Protection against excessive humidity and heat sources.
•
Protection against atmospheric agents.
•
Optimum atmospheric operating temperature b20
˚C and +25˚C.
•
Easy connections.
•
Proximity to magnetic fields and high-power lamps must be avoided.
•
Place the system on a horizontal, stable surface free of vibrations and of sufficient strength to bear the load of
the unit.
•
Prevent the system from being exposed to sunlight, rain or dampness.
•
Do not expose to gases or corrosive products.
•
Do not obstruct the vents as this would prevent the heat produced by the unit from being dissipated correctly.
In order to avoid power losses, the location where the unit is installed shall ensure the following parameters:
•
The ambient temperature in the work area must be between 0ºC and 40ºC.
•
The location shall not be made at a height of over 1000 m. In the case of sites at a greater height, please check
upon the appropriate configuration for correct operation.
•
The relative humidity range shall be between 0 and 95% without condensation.
The system has a number of electrical connections which must be access all at all times. Therefore, when defining
the site for the system these circumstances must be taken into consideration.

Figure 3.2 shows the recommended minimum distances separating the system and other elements in the installation
to ensure optimum performance.
Recommendations on placing the unit:
•
The location chosen for the unit must allow fresh air to enter and hot air to exit in order to facilitate as far as
possible the natural convection of the installation.
•
In order to ensure correct air renewal, the cabin must be fitted with a forced ventilation device ensuring an air
circulation of:
o

/hour for each ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C 100 kW with 100A charger.
o

/hour for each ZIGOR SOLAR HIT3C 100 kW with 300A charger.
