Possible Malfunctions and their Remedy

Malfunction

Cause / Remedy

The electrical motor of the pump can not be
activated.

1. Check the electrical connections, contactors
and fuses .
2. The supply line does not dispose of a zero
conductor.
(Please only deploy 5-core cable.)

The flow rate suddenly rapidly decreases an
the unit deactivates itself.

1. The nozzle or the ball valve filter are
blocked. Clean the same.
2. The vessel with Luprosil is empty.

The pump does not suction.

1. The suction line is possibly blocked.
2. Turn the adjusting screw of the quantity
  setting screw to the right until the stop.

The motor stops, if the button I is not
constantly actuated.

1. Check the line system
  (blocked nozzle, empty acid vessel).
2. The floater is aligned to the contactor
  Pickup.

The unit does not shut down automatically
even though the flow rate has decreased.

The contactor pickup is not set correctly. If
the floater sinks, it is still within the range of
the contactor pickup.
(Only occurs at very small quantities.)

The suction hose suctions air (air bubbles in
the flow measuring pipe).

1. Suction strainer is not submerged in
  medium.
2. Suction line is not leak-tight.
3. Re-tighten hose clamps.

The pump generates rattling noises.

Clean suction strainer (contamination).

The unit can not be activated.

Switch of relay (E1, E2) has triggered,
