Initial Commissioning of the Unit

Before activation of the unit, turn the adjusting screw at the quantity
setting valve at the pump in right direction until the stop (max. output) see
Diagram 6 Page - 35 -.

Actuate the

switch and keep suppressed while the adjusting screw at the quantity setting

valve is being turned until the upper edge of the floater in the flow measuring tube has
reached the required quantity in liters on the scale of the flow measuring pipe (Diagram

Page - 36 -).

After this has been performed, it is possible to hear how the contactor in the control box has

activated. The circuit of the switch

is now closed.

Only then it is possible for the operator hand to release the

switch (

The

switch is only live, if the circuit

is closed.

The setting of the flow rate via the quantity setting valve with the different nozzle sizes is
performed as follows:

Increasing the flow rate: Turn the adjusting screw to the right in clockwise direction.

Reducing the flow rate: Turn the adjusting screw to the left in anti-clockwise direction.

As the pump disposes of sufficient output capacity, the adjusting screw should never be
turned until the stop (in clockwise direction), if nozzles with a smaller throughput are
deployed.

Attention!!
The quantity setting valve can only be operated via the adjusting screw. All other screw
connections at the quantity setting valve are sealed with sealing wax and may not be
loosened.
