Refueling extension setting Refueling extension setting can or cannot be used by TJ9.
O: With element, X: Without element
When refueling extension setting is enabled, the Main Circuit Board operates as follows:
- When extension button is pressed while a warning for refueling is given (during a
countdown in refueling), the Main Circuit Board stops controlling burning with the room
thermistor, forcibly changes to Med.-Low burning (P1), and extends time for refueling.
In addition, if Low burning setting is enabled, meeting the condition for Low burning
(3.3.3-7) allows Low burning (PL). If the condition for Save Mode flame extinguish is
met, the Main Circuit Board performs Save Mode flame extinguish.
- When refueling is extended, the Fuel Lamp will flash.
- To calculate extension time, multiply the number during refueling countdown by (X).
The value in parentheses depends on refueling extension time (the unit in sec. is
rounded off).
For example: When the setting of refueling extension time is 6 times:
If the refueling countdown is indicated as 10, extension time is 6 x 10=[60].
If the refueling countdown is indicated as 5, extension time is 6 x 5=[30].
- The warning buzzer for refueling turns on every two min. after the countdown reaches
to 10 min.
- The countdown during refueling extension is also counted during pre-heat.
- If refueling extension setting is enabled while burning is fixed, when extension button is
pressed, extension time for refueling is 6 times. However, burning remains at T13
timing, then changes to Med.-Low (or Low.) burning.
- During Save Mode flame extinguish, refueling countdown is not counted.
- To return to normal burning mode from refueling extension, either supply the heater
with kerosene so that the refueling sensor can be activated, or reset the Main Circuit
Board.
- Even while refueling is extended, the Main Circuit Board performs forced High burning.
- While refueling is extended, the Main Circuit Board cannot be set in burning lock mode.
- Refueling extension is disabled in the following cases:
During burning lock, during child lock, while a Fuel Lamp is off or flashing, during Save
Mode flame extinguish.
- Additional High burning timing (T39) is not counted while refueling is extended.
