Set time/date (S) (future option)
This selection updates the optional time of day clock.
The current time is displayed, based on a 24-hour clock. If it is not
correct, answer "Yes" to set it. Enter the hour (0-23), minute (0-59)
and second (0-59). Enter each number with CR.
The current date is displayed as Month/Day/Year. If it is not correct,
answer "Yes" to set it. Enter the month (1-12), day (1-31), and year
(last two digits only).
Range transmissions (R)
(0) disabled, (1) 512 baud, (2) 1200 baud, (3) both
This selection allows the POCSAG format periodic out of range
transmissions to be enabled or disabled for 512 baud and/or 1200 baud.
Some POCSAG pages have an out-of-range feature that causes the pager
to display an out-of-range symbol (usually a 0 with an X through it
"8") if the pager does not see paging activity within 2 minutes
(typically). The paging activity does not have to be for any
particular pager address but must be transmitted at a baud rate
that matches the pager.
The Model 16 out-of-range transmission, when enabled, will be sent
every 5 minutes during periods of inactivity for the POCSAG format at
the specified baud rate(s).
