Autotilt
The lift uses Electrical Autotilt, which can have two different ways of working depending on the
setting on the control card. Normal position, with jumper Di1 installed, or extended position (auto-
levelling), without jumper Di1. See also the electrical and hydraulics diagrams in section "8.2 ZHD
2500-150, angle sensors" on page 32.
Normal position means that when the lift is being lowered towards the ground and reaches the ground,
it automatically starts to tilt the platform down to simplify the unloading and loading of goods. When
raising the platform, it is first tilted up to the horizontal position before subsequently being raised.
Extended position with "Auto-levelling" works the same as normal position, but means that the lift
also has a built-in function that automatically corrects the angle of the platform if it is angled down
when it is to be lowered. This is done to reduce the risk of the load sliding off the platform, leading
to material damage and personal injury.
With Electrical Autotilt, the platform adjusts itself to a horizontal position, not with a fixed angle in
relation to the vehicle. Most ZHDN2500-150 can have Electrical Autotilt retrofitted. Contact our
sales staff for further information.
With manual raise/lower (Di6 jumpered) the lift works manually only, without autotilt.
9.2.1
Change of working method
In order to change working method, a jumper is installed/removed according to the electrical and
hydraulics diagrams in section "8.2 ZHD 2500-150, angle sensors" on page 32. The jumper is
marked there as ”Optional automatic platform levelling”. It can comprise a cable with a cross-section
of 1-2.5 mm2. Installation/removal must always take place with the lift turned off. Ensure that the
jumper is installed correctly and always verify afterwards that the lift is working according to the
above description.
